Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Christopher Newport University has been reverted. Your edit here to Christopher Newport University was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.cnubcm.weebly.com) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:11, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply] If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Portsmouth, Virginia do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Your edit here to Portsmouth, Virginia was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb451/chris022009/198944_513905103572_68120376_30113097_3299_n.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Claddagh ring, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Please do not insert edits into the article Virginia v. West Virginia which violate the Wikipedia guidelines regarding neutral point of view. You seem to be pushing a viewpoint that the creation of West Virginia was illegitimate. That issue has been settled by the U.S. Supreme Court, as the article points out. To insert quotation marks around the word "Governor" implies that this is not a legitimately created office. To continue to push this viewpoint without citing neutral, reliable sources is inappropriate. Unfortunately you continued with vandalism [1]. This is your last warning, next time a request will be left with administrators to restrict you from editing Wikipedia. Thank you for understanding.--Ymblanter (talk) 15:24, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Anaxial. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to USS Thresher (SSN-593) seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Anaxial (talk) 18:57, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
